Silvio is one of those accidental translators. With two engineering degrees, he packed the bags and came into Localization and into the US to be a full-time translator at a large software company. But the engineer never fully left. He went into language quality and, since 2013, full time into Machine Translation at eBay. Mixing words and numbers, he has been riding the wave of the growing role of machines in translation and a voice in several L10N conferences. All the while liking puns and dogs.
