Although the changes in AI are reshaping the localization landscape on an almost daily basis, we will keep you abreast of best practices with practical know-how as well as explore localization tools such as machine translation, terminology management and global content management systems.

New technologies such as GenAI and LLMs are having a significant impact on localization.
The challenges of bringing a product or service to an international audience remain, and there are proven best practices to proactively address them.
However, because of the changes due to AI, even best practices to i18n need to continually adapt. This course will give you the tools to stay abreast of the changes.
This course covers i18n for all types of content, from legacy desktop applications to multimedia and video.

About Your Instructor
Jan Grodecki is Senior Solutions Architect at Welocalize and Adjunct Professor at University of Washington. Jan has worked in the localization industry for over 20 years on both the client and vendor side. He has managed enterprise localization projects in a variety of roles: SW localization engineer, PMP-certified project manager, and senior solutions architect.
He has been teaching International Project Management and Localization Engineering at the University of Washington since 2007.
