Melina Bergstreit is an English–Spanish Sworn, Literary, and Technical-Scientific Translator specializing in software localization. She has extensive experience translating enterprise software and user interfaces, helping global products resonate naturally with Spanish-speaking audiences. She also has experience reviewing translations and ensuring linguistic quality across localized content.

She teaches translation at the university level, where she helps future translators develop professional and industry-relevant skills. She recently completed the Global Digital Marketing and Localization Certification from The Localization Institute.

Based in Argentina, Melina is particularly interested in how language, localization, and UX come together to shape clear and seamless digital experiences.

When she’s not working with words, she’s usually on the move—playing tennis, training at the gym, practicing aerial silks, or reading from an ever-growing stack of books.
