One Spanish to Rule Them All? How Uber designed a hyperlocalization strategy to address linguistic diversity and mitigate compliance risk
Latin America is a complex region with multiple Spanish flavors. What happens when, on top of linguistic diversity, companies are required to use different terminology for country-level compliance? To solve this problem, Uber designed and implemented a hyperlocalization strategy to provide a truly local experience to our LatAm users while minimizing compliance risks and keeping costs low.
