Alba is the Language Manager for Spanish (Spain) at Canva, a design and visual communication platform available in 100+ languages across 190 countries. With a background in Communications, her journey in Localization started in editorial translation and transitioned to the tech industry when she moved to Silicon Valley. She is the guardian of Canva’s voice, tone and style in Castilian Spanish, and her main goal is to ensure top-notch localization for the Spanish market. She works collaboratively with Content, Product, Marketing and SEO teams as well as with regional stakeholders to ensure the Spain community gets the best possible Canva experience. She is currently based in Barcelona.
