Call for Papers
Spanish may be one language, but it’s spoken by more than 500 million people across 21 countries, each with its own cultural and linguistic nuances. Reaching Spanish-speaking audiences takes more than translation—it requires thoughtful, strategic decisions for delivering an authentic and compelling user experience.
Following the success of the first two editions, The Localization Institute is pleased to announce the third edition of Spotlight on Spanish, a live virtual event. Once again, the focus is on real-world, client-side perspectives on how organizations approach the complexity of Spanish localization
What Makes Spotlight on Spanish Unique
Spotlight on Spanish is the only event dedicated exclusively to the client’s voice on Spanish localization. Rather than vendor-led presentations or generic best practices, this event creates a space to hear directly from organizations that market and sell products to Spanish-speaking audiences. Speakers share how they approach decisions such as which Spanish variant to use, how strategies differ across regions, how localization choices evolve for B2B vs. B2C audiences, and how business, brand, legal, and market considerations shape outcomes.
Past events include representatives from Adobe, Airbnb, Amazon, Byte Level Research, Canva, CSA, Dell, Delta Airlines, Disney Entertainment/ESPN, EA, eBay, Expedia Group, Google, Hispanic Marketing Council, HubSpot, Kayak, King Games, Microsoft, Netflix, Pinterest, Salesforce, Spotify, The Global Fund, TikTok,
Uber and many more.
We invite you to view our previous agendas for more insight into this event: 2023 Conference Agenda and 2024 Conference Agenda.
Who Should Submit
To maintain this client-focused perspective, this call is exclusively open to client-side representatives.
We welcome proposals from companies that sell or promote products or services in Spanish-speaking markets and therefore require translation, localization, or cultural adaptation into Spanish.
Vendors, agencies, consultants, and service providers are warmly encouraged to attend, though speaking slots are reserved for client-side teams.
