Localization Project Management Certification
The Localization Project Management (LPM) Certification Program was updated in 2016 and is a combination of 26 self-paced, online learning modules combined with interviews with industry leaders, quizzes and practice tests followed by a two-day project management training workshop with a focus on group exercises and certification exam.
You will have up to 10 weeks to complete your self-study prior to the workshop that you register for. All sessions are taught in English.

As a R.E.P. (Registered Education Provider), The Localization Institute has been approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to issue 16.5 professional development units (PDUs) for this course. You can use the hours spent on the Localization Project Management Online Training program as PDUs if you are a certified PMP®, or use the hours as credits if you applying to be a PMP®.

Attendees will have 3-5 years of experience in localization on either the vendor or buyer side. It is essential that participants bring a laptop to the classroom sessions. About Your Trainer
Willem Stoeller has over 20 years of experience in translation, localization, and internationalization of marketing materials, software products, and web content. Currently, his focus is on project and quality management and localization strategy/processes improvement. Willem is a representative of TAUS and is also very involved with the Project Management Institute where he is a board member of the Portland chapter. Training for localization is a top priority for Willem. He is a former professor at the Monterey Institute of International Studies and he is also the creator and presenter of the Localization Project Management Certification and the Quality Management in Translation Certification Programs.
